Hmmm i just was logged on to orkut and i came across this news that Orkut the social online community that connects people through a network of trusted friends infact has a limit on the number of friends to 1000. So if you are nearing that mark better be watchfull in whoom you add.The cap cannot be raised and all you can do to add new friends is to delete some of your old friends or else not end up adding new friends. Surprise Surprise to all those fans of orkut.check out this pic

The other intersting news is that inorder to join orkut you dont need an invitation. All you need is a google account if not you can create one and start orkutting.
